What Happens When a Rug Store Sends Its First Photo for Free AR (Augmented Reality)

One free view, built from your photos: the rug at its true size, on a phone screen, before your customer buys.

Picture a rug store owner in London. She sells handwoven rugs from one shop and a simple website. Her returns shelf tells a familiar story. The rug that swallowed the customer's living room. The runner that vanished under the coffee table. She has seen our offer. One free AR view of her bestselling rug, built from her own photos, so her customers can see it at true size on their own floor. And she has one honest question. What actually happens if I send the photo?

This is the whole process, step by step, with nothing hidden.

Step 1: you pick one rug and send its photos

You start with your bestselling rug, the one behind most of the size questions. Lay it flat on the shop floor and photograph it straight from above, not at an angle. Put a tape measure along one edge so the scale shows, and send the rug's real listed dimensions with the photos. Two or three photos is enough. The whole thing takes about ten minutes.

If you want the exact angles and lighting that give the best result, we wrote a guide for it: how to photograph rugs for true-to-size AR.

Two photos and a tape measure. That is the whole job on your side.

Step 2: our designing department builds your AR view

This is where our side starts. Our designing department takes your photos and the real listed dimensions and produces a true-to-size AR (Augmented Reality) view of that rug. Every view is built to the rug's exact listed size, and we check the scale against your tape measure shot before anything ships. A rug that appears even slightly off would teach your customer the tool cannot be trusted, so the size check is the part we take most seriously.

Step 3: you get the link and QR code, free

When the view is ready, we send you a link and a QR code that open it in the phone browser. No app. You point your own phone at your own shop floor and the rug appears at its real size. Walk around it. Hold the phone next to the real rug and check the size yourself. If you want to feel how it works before sending anything, try the live rug demo on your phone right now.

What the free view costs you

Nothing. The first view is free because we want your honest verdict, not your money. If the size does not match your real rug, tell us. If your customers would not use it, tell us that too. We would rather lose a prospect on the free view than sign a store that never got value from it.

What happens after the free view

If the free view wins you over, the rest is done for you. You send photos of your bestsellers, five or ten at a time, and our designing department builds the whole catalogue. Most stores go live in about seven days. The price is flat and public: $249 one-time setup and $29 a month, with all view production included. No product cap. No per-view fees.

This is the part that makes us different from software you install yourself. You are not buying a tool and a manual. You get follow-ups from our side: we check how your customers use the views, and we keep adding your new stock into the catalogue when your range changes. If you need something custom, like AR views for a wholesale presentation or a branded catalogue page, our custom packages cover that. One team, one price, and someone who answers.

The cheapest way to start

You do not have to believe any article. Pick your bestselling rug, take the photos, and send them over. We will build your first true-to-size AR view free. Check it against the real rug on your own phone, and decide with the thing in front of you. If it does not convince you, you have spent nothing.

That first free view is the start of the pattern in our guide to how rug stores cut size returns: start with the rugs that come back, then widen out.

FAQ

What exactly do I send for the free view?

Two or three straight-from-above photos of the rug laid flat, one shot with a tape measure along an edge, and the rug's real listed dimensions. About ten minutes of your time, no special camera.

How accurate is the size in the AR view?

It is built to your rug's real listed dimensions, and we check the scale against your tape measure shot before it ships. You check it yourself against the real rug on your phone before anyone pays anything.

What does it cost after the free view?

$249 one-time setup and $29 a month, with all view production included. No product cap, no per-view fees, and the links and QR codes work from your product pages, your shop, and your social posts. Or you keep just the free view. There is no obligation.
